Karen Keeley has over 40yrs experience in the arts as a highly awarded visual arts lecturer, mentor, project manager, public artist and community arts coordinator. She is also a festival coordinator with extensive expertise in costume design, clothing design and manufacture, pattern making and textiles design. Karen’s knowledge and skills are an invaluable resource you can tap into when designing your next arts project.

Karen is currently a practicing visual artist working predominantly in the fields of painting, drawing, mixed-media and fibre/textiles. She conducts workshops and masterclasses for adults and children in these mediums as well as in sculpture, dyeing and printing, stitch, mural painting and ceramics.

Having curated over 80 local exhibitions and coordinated the hanging of small to large group exhibitions, Karen is available for consulting on your next community arts project, exhibition or workshop.
