About the traineeship

The CREATIVE PATHWAYS Traineeship is an initiative delivered by ART ON THE MOVE in partnership with regional host organisations across Western Australia.

The program combines paid employment, accredited training, professional mentoring and industry networking to build the skills and confidence for a career in the arts.

As the Arts Narrogin trainee, you’ll become part of a small, supportive team working to deliver exhibitions, workshops and creative projects across Narrogin and the surrounding district.

What you’ll do

As part of our small and supportive team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Help bring exhibitions to life – from planning and installation to opening night
• Work alongside artists, volunteers and community members
• Assist with creative workshops, events and public programs
• Create content for social media and help promote exhibitions and events
• Learn how arts organisations plan projects, manage budgets and deliver programs
• Welcome visitors and help create positive gallery experiences
• Build professional networks within Western Australia’s visual arts sector

You’ll be part of delivering a vibrant visual arts program that connects artists and the local community. Along the way, you’ll be supported by experienced staff, dedicated mentors and the team at ART ON THE MOVE.
