THE FRIDAY ARTISTS
Following our very successful inaugural exhibition in 2023, The Friday Artists with new members and new works, are proud to present STEPPING OUT.
Yes, we are a group of likeminded, talented artists displaying our own unique and varied styles of art; using watercolours, gouache, oils, acrylics, eco dying, natural pigments, inks, graphite and more; creating artworks emitting emotion, adventure, love, style and individuality using brush to palette to paper, like the masters!
We are part of the Narrogin Art Group; a great collective formed in 1966 and still going strong. There are groups doing painting, pottery, patchwork & quilting, mosaicking, machine knitting, textile & fibre and china painting. The printing group alone has 15 members!
The Friday Artists meet every Friday 10.00 to 3.30ish. The group welcomes painters and no matter whether they are a beginner or a “crusty stalwart”, we share our knowledge and assist each other in creating our amazing artworks.
Some of the gentlewomen and gentlemen artists have their own gallery/studios in Cuballing, Narrogin and surrounds. The artists have exhibited individually at Kulin, Wagin, Beverley, Corrigin, Merredin, Newdegate, Atwells Gallery and more.
