Quietude
May 2 – May 26
Join us at NEXIS for the opening night of Quietude, an exhibition by Casey Thornton.
Narrogin artist Casey Thornton presents her debut solo exhibition. Her figurative oil paintings reflect on the notion of quietude as a state of stillness and calm held within a person or place. A sense of freedom from storm or disturbance. The introspective and often ethereal portraits capture their subjects in momentary pause between actions, in quiet contemplation and brief respite from the anxieties of daily life.
