This three hour crash course in landscape oil painting will teach the absolute fundamentals of creating interesting art. It is for beginners and will teach what I wish I’d had distilled when I first started.

We’ll start with 10 minutes of theory on the basic concepts that will guide you from the conception of a new piece through to its completion.

We’ll then complete a quick 30 minute ‘study’, a small test painting, to see if our plan works before we spend the remaining time to complete our final piece, which we will complete using the lessons we learnt while carrying out the study.

Materials will all be provided and you’ll be sent home with a set of paints, some brushes, and a printed basic guide of the theory we covered, so you can carry on with your newest hobby.
