enRICH Scholarship 2022

Mentorship for Emerging Artists

Take your creative career to the next level!

Local Wheatbelt artists interested in taking their creative career to the next level are encouraged to apply for a scholarship opportunity offered by Arts Narrogin.

The successful applicant will be supported by an established professional to develop, present and document a body of work over 12 months, starting in July 2022.

The scholarship package includes artist fees for the Mentor, professional development workshops, venue hire, administration and marketing support. 

Funding Available…

One individual will be awarded $2,000 (GST inclusive).

• $500 towards materials/equipment

• $1500 towards mentoring

Arts Narrogin will provide up to $1950 in-kind support in the following areas:
Workshop fees $150, Staff time $900, Venue hire $200, Marketing $500, Administration $200

Eligible Artists…

  • Are an Emerging Artist.
  • Are a resident of, or have a connection to, the Shire of Narrogin.
  • Creatives working in the following areas: Dance, Film, Music, Literature, Theatre, Performance Arts, Visual Arts, Photography, Muralists, Public Art, Digital Art/New Media etc

Project start date: 30 June 2022

Application Process…

  1. Download & read the Guidelines, Terms & Conditions and Application Form
  2. Research options for a mentor you’d like to work with on creative and/or business skills
  3. Complete & submit your application by 13 May 2022
  4. Applications will be reviewed by a panel consisting of at least three members – an Arts Narrogin board member, a member of the Arts Narrogin Gift Fund committee, and an arts industry professional.
  5. Applicants will be notified of their success by Thursday June 30 2022
