Computer Bugs!

A one-day recycled materials workshop, suitable for adults & kids.

November 20 @ 12:30 pm 3:30 pm


This fun all-ages art workshop involves both drawing and sculpture. Repurpose broken computer components to make small scale sculptures called Computer Bugs!

Get into the world of bugs… Zoom in with magnifying glasses, study and sketch real insects (safely encased in resin!) using inks, quills and dip sticks. Then deconstruct computer components and use these parts to construct your own species of ‘computer bug’ sculptures to take home!

Cost: $40, All art materials, tools and equipment provided
Venue: Arts Hub, 21 Doney St Narrogin (Cnr Doney & Garfield)
Suitable for both kids and adults. Recommended min age 9+ Under 12’s to be accompanied by an adult
Minimum of 8 participants for the workshop to go ahead


About the Artist:
Veronica McGrath is a visual artist and art educator who is passionate about salvaging and repurposing materials. Found objects, fragments and the discarded items of everyday life are all treasures for this artist who loves to work with unorthodox materials, reshaping them and breathing new life into old rubbish!
