enRICH Scholarship: Helping hand for local artists

Local Wheatbelt artists interested in taking their creative career to the next level are encouraged to apply for a scholarship opportunity offered by Arts Narrogin.

The successful applicant will be supported by an established professional to develop, present and document a body of work during 2020.

The scholarship package includes artist fees for the Mentor, professional development workshops, venue hire, administration and marketing support.

The program has been developed locally off the success of a similar program offered in 2019.  Casey Thornton, recipient of a mentorship in 2019, said

“The mentorship really helped me to develop the skills and confidence I needed to take my arts practice to the next level, through the process of developing my first solo exhibition. Since then I’ve been able to leverage what I learned into further opportunities, even selling paintings to collectors interstate and overseas.”

To register an Expression of Interest contact Cait Stewart, at Arts Narrogin via admin@artsnarrogin.com.au / 9881 6987 before 15 March.

This scholarship has been made possible through local donations to Arts Narrogin’s tax deductible gift fund.

For further information, photographs or interviews, please contact Arts Narrogin manager, Cait Stewart, on 0448 490 409.
